Historic Church by the Ocean.
Doesn't seem to get more Iceland than this view of a church by the sea. Worth a visit. The adjacent cemetery was interesting to walk through. Beautiful area.

Iceland has many such Churches, standing isolated and very picturesque. Mostly, they're just like this one - white with red roof. However, I must admit this one in Hellnar looks worse than most others...

I had a walk around - it’s a very pretty church but appears to be sadly neglected, locked and boarded up. Very picturesque setting. There’s an information board and free parking.
