Liangshuihe Park

The Liangshui River, the tributary of the North Canal of the Haihe River, originally originated from Houniwa Village, Fengtai District, Beijing. After the management in the 1950s, the Lianhua River, the tributary of the former South Moat, was separated from the South Moat and merged into the Liangshui River. The starting point of the Liangshui River was changed to Wanquan Temple Railway Bridge. Lotus Pool (Wanquan Temple Railway Bridge) became the new birthplace of the Liangshui River. It flows through Shijingshan District, Fengtai District, Chaoyang District, Daxing District, Tongzhou District, and enters the North Canal on the upper reaches of Yulinzhuang Zha. It is a main tributary of the North Canal. The original length is 58 kilometers, with the lotus pond as the source, the total length is 68.41 kilometers, and the basin area is 629.7 square kilometers. There are tributaries such as Caoqiao River, Macao River, Macaogou, Dayangfanggou, Xiao Taihou River.
