Too expensive
Pretty nice campground. Quiet and peaceful. Don't come in August. It seems every August they let water out of the dam and it stinks like Sulfur so bad. We travelled from Kansas to Oregon. Camped ...

Smelly
Smells terrible - we had a reservation for a site on the east loop of the lake for one night it smelled so bad we couldn’t stay (and we can handle some stank but man it was so bad!)
Water Draw Down Now Will be Restored and Better than Ever.
We enjoyed visiting Lake Ogallala as always. It is currently undergoing repair and soon to be restored. Wonderful SRA with lots of camping spots and some good fishing.
