Nice statue, makes you think
The square itself is not necessarily worth the detour but the statue (representing a bleeding hart) is nicely integrated in the square. It makes you think about the horrors of war, and what has happen...
It is a monument in the square in front of the synagogue. I think it was placed here because there was a star motif, so I think it was somehow related to the synagogue.
It is a small square adjacent to the synagogue. In the middle was a rabbi monument called Alexander Safran, which is also the name here. There were several benches, so there were some people sitting and resting.
