If the gate is locked your allowed to park and walk down to the grounds, just don’t block the gate. It’s about a mile down a gravel road. The building was closed, the grounds and cemetery was open. ...

Beautifully preserved historic house while played an important role during he Civil War. The volunteers who were present during our visit were extremely knowledgeable and helpful.
We really enjoyed this house. The tour guide was full of knowledge. Interacted very well with our group and was personable. The house was very nicely restored in most of the areas that we saw.
