So disappointing
It's been years since the earthquake but the area remains a construction zone. What makes it disappointing though is that the newer aspects have no style or design features.
And out of the ashes new regrowth can be seen. Another representation of the town coming back. Certainly far from finished, but there is great new popular stores coming back into the CBD, and in smart...
There isn’t much to see along this street as so much was damaged during the earthquakes. This bears no resemblance to any other ‘high street’ you’ll see.
Not much there but a few trendy bars scattered around

We took a walk along High Street to start our HOP ON HOP OF TRAM TOUR and noticed there ware a new shops opened like TRENERY, WITCHERY, MECCA MAXIMA & H&M, the street is getting its charm back slowly...
