Nice fountain
Pretty enough fountain statue near the port of Civitavecchia. It is easy to miss if you walk along SS1. Worth a quick visit if you are walking from the port to the beach or vice versa.
Nice old fountain set into the port walls
Quite an imposing large plaque like monument set into the old walls of the port. It is engraved with its history but not easy to read till you consult google later,
Beautiful Fountain but wasn’t running at the time
After taking the free shuttle bus from our cruise ship to the end of the port we wandered around Civitavecchia and found this Fountain. It was commissioned by Pope Benedict XIV (Latin: Benedictus XIV)...
Historic Fountain
Since we were staying in the port instead of going on a tour we were wandering and came across this fountain. The plaque would indicate it is from 1743 so quite old.
Beautiful
We found this beautiful fountain while walking around Civitavecchia. Civitavecchia has a lot of interesting things to see. I loved it there.
