Gangarama Seema Malakaya, ගංගාරාම සීමා මාලකය.

This serene temple sits on three floating platforms which are connected to each other and to the mainland by floating bridges. There are numerous seated Buddha statues displaying different mudras (hand gestures) on all three platforms. The central platform houses wooden paneled temple for meditation. The view of the surrounding Colombo skyline from the central platform is beautiful. A small entrance fee to the temple applies to foreigners.

As I mentioned in other reviews, we visited the lake where we lived, we walked around the lake and visited all the interesting attractions. Things here, we have seen in other similar temples, nothing, so unless you live here, it’s not worth the time to play

The temple in the water is around the city, and it should be a park around. The temple area in the water is not large. There are very beautiful Buddha statues here. Come to visit early in the morning. There are not many people. The scenery is OK.

In the centre of Colombo, there is Lake Bella, which has various waterbirds, and a beautiful wooden pavilion called "Water Temple". It is a meditation and meditation center of the famous Gangalama Temple nearby. Lake Bella is not big, but the water is beautiful, the water temple is not big, but the treasure is solemn, barefoot into the cool incomparable, can not help but respect. ?

The Shuijie Temple is located in Lake Bella in the center of Colombo. It is said that the Shuijie Temple is dedicated to Sakyamuni and the White Pagoda. Because of the time constraints, I did not visit, but took photos on the shore. The underwater style is more characteristic, the appearance is solemn, and the color is bright.

Lake Bella and Beira Lake are one of Colombo's favorite leisure areas. There are many towering trees along the lake. There are cormorants, pelicans and other birds circling around the lake. There is also a beautiful wooden pavilion in the lake, designed by Sri Lankan architect Jeffrey Bawa. The local people kindly call it "Water Temple".
