Very cool statue.
You can't miss this if you walk down Woodward Ave to the waterfront. It's quite beautiful, I hope that the optimism in the statue plays out for Detroit.
Detroit Icon
I have always seen this in TV movies and pictures, but had not been sure what it was. This trip I was able to go up to it. It is an Icon of Detroit and I found the story interesting.
