Thanks to the existence of this Shule Valley, the Hexi Corridor can be directly connected to the southern Xinjiang, and the northern and eastern Xinjiang corresponding to the Xingxingxia Road, because there is also a large area of Ma'ao Mountain between the Hexi Corridor, so in the earliest stage of the empire, This passage did not become the mainstream of the times, so before the Sui and Tang Dynasties, the Yumenguan Road that went directly to Loulan was the best choice for entering Xinjiang.
