Taisho modern
Original Text
It is a government office building in the former Fuchu Town, which was built in 1918, and has been relocated to the site of the Fuchu Local Forest Museum. The first building designated as a cultural property in Tokyo during the Taisho era. Currently, it is not possible to enter it because of the corona damage, but it is preserved in a beautiful state. The soft color is wonderful.
At the time of my visit, the interior was under construction and I couldn't enter, but the cream-colored outer wall was very beautiful. The street in front of you was inspired by the old Koshu Kaido.
i was surprised that the village manager's room was small

Located in the local forest of Fuchu, an admission fee (common to other facilities) is 300 yen (except Fuchu citizens). There are several restored buildings in the local forest, but this government office building was the most interesting. The modern design of the Japanese and Western eclectic is wonderful, and the state of the small room inside and architectural accessories such as window keys are well preserved. I also missed the feeling of creaking on the stairs.
It is located on the site of the Fuchu City Folk Forest Museum.

I think it's been restored cleanly.

A clean office.
It's old-fashioned and has a retro feel. It used to be a town because it was a government office. I was able to feel the history.
