Beautiful breathtaking views from the mountain top! The lake below was clear blue, cold and swimmable. We found the accommodations welcoming.
Most unfriendly town I have experienced
The town is beautiful but not the people living here. We met the most unfriendly and rude german people here. I am embarrassed to admit that I am german myself who moved to the US 35 years ago. Never ...
Bavarian Paradise
Zugspitz tram trip and dining. Great city for mountain view and the ski jump. Enjoyed the small shop shopping. Great exchange rates.
Skiing
Queues are unbelievably long and time consuming to get onto the slopes, once you finally get on them there’s more queues for the lifts… there nowhere near enough lifts for the amount of people that ar...
Really beautiful
Wanting to hike, but hopefully still experience and see some snow, October was a wonderful time to visit, as many of the trails are still open and the high peaks were snow-covered. Beautiful area.
