Situated on a great spot
You can see this chapel from the road and always impressed me. But although it is situated on a great spot the chapel is not so special from the inside. But I am still glad I finally visited once.
Little walk up when visiting Traunkirchen
Nice 20 min stroll up from Romantic Traunkirchen and its main baroque church. Even some celtic remains to be found as the ara was very rich in very ancient times from salt trading

Beautiful Landscape.
The church is located top on a picturesque cliff by the beautiful lake. It is worthy to get off the train, take some memorable photos and then take the next train.
A flat chapel in a beautiful location.
The chapel is located in the Homo Pronunciator that closes a peninsula that enters Traun Lake (Traunsee), the same where the village of Traunkirche is.
