    Yuxu ある Shrine

    Original Text

It is located just up Hiwazaka. It started in 1135 when a high priest named Ryoshinin built Kannon-do, and is said to be the oldest shrine in Hokkaido. Although it is a hill, a god related to the sea is enshrined. The shrine itself is not flashy, but the view is good in a place that is up.

On the way to Motomachi walk ⛩

    Original Text

It was written on the explanation board by Hakodate City that Kannon-do was the beginning. It is now a shrine, and it was the main shrine in a place further up the Otorii gate. It seemed convenient to worship when walking around Motomachi, but I couldn't see tourists because of the off-season.

Located in Motomachi at the foot of Mt. Hakodate, it is said to be the oldest shrine in Hokkaido. The legend of Yoshitsune remains, and the Yoshitsune party, who had been escaping from Tohoku, was about to be in distress when crossing the Tsugaru Strait, and was able to land safely thanks to Funatama Myojin. It was usually a quiet shrine.

It is located at the foot of Mt. Hakodate. It is said to be the oldest shrine in Hoen and is said to be the oldest shrine in Hokkaido. It was relocated to this area in 1945. I went on the night of the annual festival. The approach was lined with lanterns and it was a mysterious feeling. It was crowded until late at night.
