An old house and residence group spreading under hikita Jo castle
Original Text
Many old houses and old mansions are preserved in the old townscape, and it is worth a leisurely stroll. It's large enough to walk around, so you can enjoy it by looking at it or taking a break at the restaurant.
This is a retro cityscape in Hikita. This is a small port town facing Harima Nada located at the eastern end of Kagawa Prefecture. It seems that it was crowded as a production area of salt and sugar during the Edo period. JR The old townscape, which is a remnant of it, remains in the range from Hikita Station to the sea across National Highway 11. This is the townscape "wind port" of Hikita. The representative buildings were Kamebishi Soy Sauce, Sanshu Izutsu Mansion, Former Hikita Post Office, and Kusaka Mansion, and I enjoyed walking back in time.
When I asked for the way, everyone kindly taught me. The whole city is within walking distance, but when I was experiencing and shopping, I didn't have enough time in half a day.
To visit Hikita Castle, which was selected as one of the 100 Continued Japanese Castles, we visited the Sanshu Izutsu Mansion with stamps and pamphlets, and next to it was a large building with red walls of Kamebishi soy sauce. A short walk will bring you to the magnificent Nagayamon of the Kusaka family. It is a town with old merchant houses and houses left.
Leave Tokushima and 45 minutes. The general hall road is an excursion road to Yashima in the elementary school days. I never thought there was such a nice place in Hikita, the town of Tebukuro. The narrow diameter and the alley are good. The remnants of a wealthy merchant who prospered with old-fashioned soy sauce. I remembered a ship wholesaler in the Edo period.

You can be touched by the kindness of the locals!

Not famous, but little-known.
