A very small museum that has been renovated from a private house. The number of days open is small and there are many people visiting, so it is very lined up. I went there on Sunday in May, but I waited for nearly 3 hours. After waiting, I was repeatedly told to "walk without stopping slowly!" to sweep people, so I stayed for about a few minutes. I wanted to read letters and commentary, but it was very unpleasant to receive attention when I tried to read it.
After having Chinese soba for lunch, I visited the memorial hall built at Toshizo Hijikata's birthplace along the road. Unfortunately, the magnificent gate was closed tightly today because it was a closed day.

I went to the time when Izumi no Kami Kanesada was open to the public for a limited time. It was past 15:00, but it was crowded and about 5 people lined up.
