A temple with a big Buddha
Original Text
It is a large historic temple built in 1645, and the Great Buddha of Shaka Nyorai is enshrined on the hill of the temple, overlooking Toyota and Tama Hills. The Great Buddha built in 1995 can be visited by anyone, so I would like to visit it. Since there used to be Toyota Elementary School in the precincts of the temple, there is also a monument to that effect. There are various highlights, so I would like to visit it. The memorial service of my parents' house is also held here.
When you cross the Higashi Toyota railroad crossing on the Chuo Line, you will see the Great Buddha. You can also go up the stairs and go around the Great Buddha. Since it is on a hill, it is like an observatory. Below the graveyard is a magnificent precinct. There is also a beautiful pond with bell towers and lotus planted.
My friend's house is in this neighborhood. I used to see it from the outside, but it was actually the first time I took a closer look. It was a wider and magnificent temple than I expected. It seems that he is making good use of land with different heights. The mountain gate is located at a low land on the south side, with the main hall, Daikokudo (Hino Seven Lucky Gods), lotus pond, and bell tower. There is a Great Buddha in a high place on the land, and you can visit it by going up the stairs from the precincts. Also, even if you don't return, if you go to the parking lot on the side from here, you go to the east side road ...
There is a big Buddha, but the entrance is hard to understand.

You can see the Great Buddha (the clock behind) at the Higashi Toyota Rikubashi signal, but the entrance is under the overpass, so it is difficult to understand if you go from above. There is a parking lot. It is a temple of the Nichiren sect, and it is a magnificent temple in a large precinct.
Crossing the Higashi Toyota railroad crossing on the Chuo Line, you will see the Great Buddha. You can enter the precincts and go up the stairs to go around the Great Buddha. Since it is on a hill, it is also like an observatory. There is also a beautiful pond with many bell towers and lotus planted when you get down to the border.
