    Itsuki kannohyaku Ji Temple pilgrimage

    Original Text

Hitoyoshi Betsuin is located in the streets of a residential area. After passing through the mountain gate, there is a main hall in the center of the precincts, and I was able to worship freely. Inside the hall, "Manaita Buddha", "Umbrella Buddha" and "Bamboo Buddha", which are hidden Nembutsu materials, are exhibited, and I was able to feel the strength of faith again. It is said to be the village of Kakure nenbutsu.

    Original Text

This Honganji Hitoyoshi Betsuin was built in the Meiji era. It became the current temple name in the Taisho era. Even in Hitoyoshi, there was a suppression of the Ikko sect and it was worshiped for about 350 years. It is impressive that the stone statue of Shinran Shonin is mossed in the precincts.

The ban on the Ikko sect for more than 360 years by the Sagara clan was lifted in the Meiji era, and the main hall is said to have been completed in 1881 at the temple of the Jodo Shinshu sect, which will be the first issue after the ban was lifted. I am the only worshiper in the small precincts and go up to the main hall to pray for the safety of my wife. In the main hall, materials of hidden Nembutsu, such as Manaita Buddha and Umbrella Buddha, were exhibited, and I felt the strength of faith again. In the jodo Shinshu sect, there is no red stamp, but when you stop at the shrine office, Stan ... commemorating the worship.
