Hue Historic Citadel

The seat of the Nguyen monarch ruled from 1802 till 1945, also known as the forbidden city of Vietnam, a symbolic icon of the last dynasty of Vietnam.

Histrorical place with full of very last dynasty classical Imperial decoration 🎎 , anyone who REALLY like to take picture here is the must place to go when you at Hue, about half day worth of journeys, the weather here in Hue is very hot ☀️☀️, make sure prepare with sun block, hat or umbrella ☂️☂️, during my time of visit still got certain place been put under construction 🏗️ but still got many places that we can enjoyed. Historical type person gonna love this place. Overall score 8.5/10 because i’m an average historical person 😅

Hue Ancient Building Complex (The Complex of Hue Monuments), located in central Vietnam, 80 kilometers south of the 17th latitude line, 654 kilometers north from Hanoi, Vietnam's capital, 1071 kilometers south from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam's largest city, Changshan Mountains to the west, 8 kilometers east from the South China Sea, an area of 150 square kilometers. Hue City is built on the narrow plain on the banks of the Xiangjiang River, close to the bountiful mountain, Yuping Mountain. The climate is a tropical monsoon climate and the scenery is beautiful. In 1993, it was listed in the World Heritage List according to the selection criteria C (IV) for cultural heritage.

Hue Imperial City, also known as Da Nei, is located in the center of Hue Ancient City, the Forbidden City of Vietnam. It was destroyed in the Battle of Hue in 1968, and it has not been completely repaired. The ruins of the broken walls reveal a sense of history. The construction of the Imperial City is based on the Forbidden City of Beijing, like a reduced version of the Forbidden City of Beijing, so there will be a familiar feeling when visiting. There is the Forbidden City in the Imperial City, and the Forbidden City is divided into beds. The Qin government hall, which is usually handled by the emperor, the Gancheng Palace where the emperor lives, the Emperor's Palace where the Queen lives, the Palace of Light where the Prince of the Crown resides, and the Shunhui Courtyard where the queen lives. There are also flag stands, Taihe Palace and the Palace of Guangdian and Temples where the emperors of the past lived. The entire building is spectacular, the largest and most complete ancient complex in Vietnam, and has been included in the World Heritage List.
