We walked to the island on one side of the river crossed over and walked back on the other side of the river after visiting the island. There are plenty of benches to stop and rest and enjoy the scen...
Such a beautiful walk through the Ness Islands just loved it.
The Ness Island walk should not be missed it truly lovely with huge fur trees and vegetation. The river Ness runs really quite fast on each side of the island and was a wonderful sound.
Very relaxing walk surrounded by the river Ness. This place is quiet, peaceful and yet quite close to the centre of Inverness. Beautiful trees as well!!

Great walk
We started near the castle and walked down to the islands and back up on the other side of the river. A beautiful walk with great bridges.
