Not sand but beautiful all the same
Beach is pebble and some sand areas. Sandy beaches are available at other parts of the island. Plenty of sunbeds along the beach although we didn't make use of these.
Turquoise Sea
The colour of the sea is beautiful and once in, it's like a bath. But it was very difficult getting in! The first time I didn't wear sliders. Ouch!! The pebbles for about 2m into the sea really hurt m...

Ixia Beach is long and tight .....most of stones so I recommend using water shoes to protect your feet, although there are also a few areas with sand ......es very wind ...
