The 11th Shogun of the Tokugawa Shogunate, Iesai, planned to visit Kawasaki Daishi the year before the 42-year-old year of trouble. However, Kawasaki Daishi's chief priest Takaen died on the day of the Shogun's visit. The hurried Kawasaki Daishi moved the body to the neighboring Meichoji Temple and welcomed the general's worship as scheduled. This became a reputation and Kawasaki Daishi's reputation rose as ｣ when the chief priest took over the trouble of the general. Myochoji played such a role.

If you leave Kawasaki Daishi Station on the Keihin Express and follow Omotesando, you will find Meichoji Temple.
