If you just want to hike up the mountain, park in the upper carpark off the old Kenmore Road. If you want to take in the waterfall then there is a smaller carpark down lower but can be hard to find a...
Beautiful climb amazing views
One would need boots for safety and warm clothes to be prepared for the Irish weather. We had hailstones and sunshine as we climbed. Beautiful views well maintained by volunteers.

We parked in the upper car park. Did the red loop first and then the summit walk (probably too much tbh) the views were worth it though
