I went there for the first time. It is a three-story building where you can see the history of Koriyama City. Some of them are represented by exhibits from the Kofun period and maps, which is a great learning experience. From the tumulus to the Meiji Taisho era to the present, you can see the history of the wide era. I think it's a very good place to study. I didn't have much time this time, so I couldn't see it slowly, so I would like to take a leisurely tour again next time.
It was a historical museum in Koriyama City. 1 On the floor, it was like a fulfilling history museum with excavated in Koriyama and designated important tangible cultural properties!
When I stayed in Koriyama for work, I walked around the city only in the center. There was "Fujiyama Park" further west from "Nyohoji". It was a vast site with several public facilities, and there was a park ☆ pond that made the best use of nature, making it an oasis of the city. There is the "Koriyama City Historical Museum" on the west side of "Koriyama Park", and admission is free, so I went in. I didn't know until now, but surprisingly from the ruins ...

A museum in Koriyama City near the Koriyama City Community Center. It feels like a small museum, but materials are exhibited according to the history of the Meiji, Taisho, Showa and Koriyama City. There are plenty of materials related to Azumi hydrophobic. I also learned about the history of being a military capital. Passengers from the Miharu Carriage Railway are on display. It seems that special exhibitions are also held several times a year. Open from 10:00 to 17:00, admission is free.
