Pleasant enough walk
We walked around a 3.5 km route through, woodland, into the marshes and back along a disused railway track. We didn’t see very much but it was a pleasant enough walk. A few flowers, including the nat...
This is a great place to see Crane birds in the wild
Visiting the marshland is a great adventure. We saw all sorts of wildlife, deer, crane birds. The walk over the boardwalk was great. You walk right across the marshland that is around 5 meters deep !.

If you run from the city of Kushiro toward the Marsh Observatory on the Tsurui Teshikaku Line, you will find this Kushiro Marsh Wildlife Conservation Center in a magnificent building on your left before going up to the observatory. The building is in a lush forest, so it's hard to see from the road and you'll probably pass by without notice. This is a facility of the Ministry of the Environment, a research facility, but there was also an exhibition for the general public. Admission is free. Extinct wildlife such as octopus and crane crocodile ...
There were many signboards, but it seemed that it was under construction, and I didn't check it well, so I passed by. The next day I had the opportunity to see wild white eagles. It is a facility where injured eagles, white eagles, and zebra owls are protected. You can observe giant eagles protected through the cage from the 2nd floor of the building. It is a facility that appeals to the importance of protecting the natural environment.

I was surprised at the size of the wild eagle.
