Wander we go
Kyaikhtiyo Pagoda is a well-known Buddhist pilgrimage site in Mon State about 130 miles from Yangon. One of the most spectacular places I visited. Amazing rock! The golden rock is one of the three most sacred religious sites in Myanmar, along with the Shwedagon Pagoda and the Mahamuni Temple. Nice panorama view from the top.The transfer is one of kind. Once arrived at the village, you'll need to park and hop on a lorry truck to go to the top. One of the craziest ride ever had but definitely worth it. It's a MUST visit!

In Meng language, Kyait is a "Buddha" and Pun is a "four", but the "four-faced Buddha" here is not a Thai four-faced Buddha familiar to everyone, but the four-backed Buddha statues specially built on the four sides of the open-air columns in the temple. The legend of this four-faced Buddha statue was donated by four Meng women. The four Buddhas, including Sakyamuni, are depicted, each with different decorations and the sage of the Buddha.

The Mahathir Temple is located on the west side of the Reclining Buddha Temple in Ruidaliang, built in 1560 by the emperor Mang Yinglong of the Dongguan Dynasty. Because in Buddhist tradition, kings who can help Buddhism develop and spread have the legitimacy of their rule, legend has said that Mang Yinglong personally welcomed the Buddha Teeth Sheri from Sri Lanka and placed it in the Mahathir Temple in order to consolidate his rule. Buddha teeth after several twists and turns, they were finally placed in the Gomudul Buddha Pagoda in Shizui. Unfortunately, the sacred "Buddha teeth" were later proved to be nothing more than a fake. The Mahathir Temple also experienced many wars and hardships, and was not completed until 1982 because of earthquakes and other reasons. Regardless of the tortuous history of the Buddha's teeth above, the architectural style of the Mahathir Temple is unique in southern Myanmar. The top of the ladder leading to the Golden Pagoda is decorated with small pagodas, and the temple has neat and uniform wavy gold apex at many angles. From a distance, the white walls reflect each other, which is very beautiful.

Mandalay was my last stop in Myanmar so I felt really no need to go to see the pagoda again. Go here with a few other people who didn’t know this at all, but wow.. there must have been something else! Nice to see the snake in the shower in the morning. Locals love it!

The Banggu Jinta Temple is a very special temple for tourists in Yangon, Myanmar. This city is also a very important Buddhist city. You can often see many monks on the streets. There are quite a lot of tourists. The Jinta Temple is a very important royal temple here.

Pa'an Nature is too eccentric to this small town on the Thai-Myanmar border, and it outlines the stretching mountains, such as mirrored lakes, lush forests, and temples scattered among the mountains and rivers. Paanne is like Macondo, written by Garcia Marquez, before accepting alien civilizations. All people or things are what they are. The market is the most traditional market in the impression, supporting the shed, black, watching the store proprietress take the fan sitting in front of the stall to watch the flow of people, sometimes soliciting some business. Buying things is to bargain, face-to-face bargaining, it can be said that you can talk about feelings, maybe you can also attach a reminder: "this banana will be eaten tomorrow morning", "the skirt should be worn like this". calm, simple, content. My imagination of Myanmar should be a refugee running all over the ground, and there will be explosions every few days. But here, the opposite is true, the beggars on the road are quiet and will never bother you; the dogs running all over the street are looking for food, and they have no interest in people; The women with plates on their heads piled up on the side of the road to sell food, and they didn't need to drink, and they spent time chatting with each other. Open the window early in the morning, the telegraph pole in front of the window is full of pigeons, if there is food, fly to forage, if not, stay honest, or feel uncomfortable. So I felt that the time was stretched, but the day seemed to be a week. Turning on your phone or computer, I realized that there was another world hidden, and the green plains that looked up, silvery water, and the outline of the faint mountains between clouds seemed so far away. 🚙🚙 Transportation: Pa'an has buses to and from other major cities in Myanmar, and the conditions are very good and the price is not high. Pa'an indoor transportation is mostly a hotel to rent tuk tuk (similar to a three-wheeled motorcycle). If you are physically fit, you can consider renting a bicycle to ride.

Here is the largest indoor sleeping Buddha in Myanmar, with 108 patterns on the bottom of the Buddha statue. The temple is very quiet and comfortable, and many kittens are taking a nap here! There are two points to explain. First, don't wear shorts to enter, and second, don't learn to take pictures of the lying posture of the Buddha statue.

Yangon's 10,000-strong grotto dome is located in Yangon, Myanmar's capital, and is known as the "emerald mountain" because its exterior is covered with jade stone. The interior is also magnificent and can be visited when there is no religious activity.
