Little Potala Palace

Putuo Zongcheng Temple, also known as the "Little Potala Palace", is a Buddhist temple built by the Qianlong Emperor in the Qing Dynasty to celebrate his 60th birthday and the 80th birthday of the Queen Mother of Chongqing. Located in the north of the Mountain Resort in Chengde City, Hebei Province, on the south side of Shizigou, it is the largest complex of the eight temples outside Chengde, built in Qingqianlong 36 (1771).
