Matsuyama City Hall
Original Text
A street running north-south in front of Matsuyama City Hall. This moat is very beautiful, especially during the morning sun. The plum blossoms were just in full bloom.
I think the street of City Hall-mae Station on the east side of Shiroyama Park is Higashihoribata-dori. I walked this street before taking a walk in Shiroyama Park. It was good that the scenery with the moat and its fence had a taste. It is convenient to access because there is also a city train. There were many sightseeing spots around, such as the Prefectural Museum of Art, Ehime Prefectural Office, and Shiroyama Park.
It is a scenic street along the moat. Of particular note is the site of Matsuyama Junior High School where Soseki worked on this street. There is only a stone monument now, but when I saw this, I was deeply moved by the thought that it was the place where Soseki was.
Train street on the east side of the moat. From this street, you can see Matsuyama Castle on the city train, Ehime Prefectural Office and the towering mountain behind it at the same time, so it is an angle view that is often used in Matsuyama posters. Even at night, the castle is lit up, so it's also worth seeing.

Obori
I climbed Matsuyama Castle by lift from the Okaido side, so I couldn't see the moat, but I can see the moat arranged in Higashibori.
Even at night, the castle is lit up.
