Was a very interesting stop on our tour of Ireland. There were a couple of guys with guitars there at the time to add to our enjoyment. You can see Croagh Patrick mountain from this location.

This sculpture is a fitting memorial to the terrible event it commemorates. It could do with an info board to explain more about the famine so people understand more about that tragedy.
Just next to the croagh patrick parking.. This monument reminds an important moment of the Irish history.. I don't know whether it is beautiful or not, but in memory of all the victims of fame ...
