Very Pretty
You can see this lighthouse from the wharf in Halifax. It is very striking at night when it is all lit up. We were told by locals that they don't allow anyone on the island to get to the lighthouse ...
Closer look at the LIghthouse
Recommend to take the water taxi at the charge of $20 to Mcnab's Island to have a closer look on the Lighthouse there.
Cute lighthouse
Viewed from shore on a cold rainy day. It’s nice to walk around the wharf area. There are a few stores open on the wharf but many are still closed (for the season?).
Beautiful lighthouse
This is a nice lighthouse in Halifax Harbor. It's viewable from the shoreline, but warrants a visit on its own. I highly recommend it!
A bit of a walk from the doc, but worth it
Take the water taxi ($20, ~15 commute) to Mcnab's Island. You have to tread over a lot of rocks/sand/grass (and even a colony of sea snails), but this adorable little lighthouse is worth it.
