It is a small museum near the Minamiizu Office. There were materials from Japan's oldest fire fighting organization born in the Edo period, and introductions such as hand-pressed pongs. Admission is free, so it is recommended for those who are interested.
This local building, located on the premises of Minamiizu Town Hall, is a new building with a fashionable structure along with the government office. Rather than being built for tourist visits, I think it was built to engrave the history of the local area. A part of Yayoi period earthenware excavated from the land of Shimogamo, glass balls, and other unusual items are exhibited with fire extinguishing materials.
