It's a strange combination, but it's interesting.

My child wants to see the ruins of the Katakami Railway in Sakurahara Fureai Park, so while visiting there, I also visited this museum in the same park. The museum mainly exhibited the life of the former Sakihara Town in the mid Showa period, the outline of the former mine here, and the mining technology used. Although the exhibition is a strange combination, the exhibition of the mine was interesting because I didn't have a chance to see it.
The history of the mine is told. The Showa retro townscape is also reproduced.

When I was going north on National Highway 374, I happened to see the information board and turned left to visit the museum. At the facility in Sakihara Fureai Park, materials from mines that once prospered in mining such as brass ore are exhibited. The Showa retro townscape is also reproduced in the hall. Underground 1 The floor is reproduced as if mining in the tunnel. The admission fee is 510 yen (410 yen for 65 years old and over), but I think it's well worth a visit.
