When I visited the museum, it was closed, so I applied for a tour at the archaeological museum next door. The admission fee is 100 yen for adults, and you can see the excavated items from the archaeological site at the archaeological museum, and the living and cultural materials at the museum. It is suitable for visiting local culture.

From Suda Port in Kasama-cho, Mitoyo City, on the way back from sightseeing in Awashima using Awashima Kisen, we parked our car in the free parking lot and visited the Mitoyo City Kasama-cho Folklore Museum. Although it is mainly folk tools, I also enjoyed exhibits unique to towns along the Seto Inland Sea such as Kitamaebune, fishing gear, and a diorama of Irihama Shiota.
