    Interesting to see salt farming

    We drove through here in the hope of seeing the pink lakes but I guess it was the wrong time of year. We did stop and watch the salt farming though - very industrial with tractors scooping huge chunk...

    All life in the Mar Menor is gone

    There has been a disaster. All the fish in the Mar Menor are dead. The water really smells bad and the beaches have been closed.

    Flamingos in natural habitat

    A good camera may be quite handy when visiting this place! For us, it was a good day and saw a bunch of flamingos, and some not that far away. The beach is also quite nice
