Cherry Blossom's not in bloom yet
Not sure how to rate this.... I went today on Feb 10th and the blossoms are still not quite there. Seems like you'll need to wait another 2-3 weeks. Probably a nice place when in season...but also,...
Not the Best
It was a good place to enjoy a slow walk but unfortunately it wasn't full bloom for the cherry blossom yet. Perhaps mid Feb will be a better time to visit here.
Great Place for Cherry Blossom Viewing
Every year they have a Cherry Blossom Festival on Nago Mountain. It is always fun to hike up the stairs and trails but, even more beautiful when the cherry trees, lining the stairs are in full bloom. ...
Sakura Festival held at the end of January
I was surprised at the time of the event and went with my family. On weekends when the event is held, there is a lot of traffic to Nago city, so we recommend a schedule with plenty of time. The main venue is Nagojo Park, but the street stalls line up in the city and the city is dyed in a festival color. When we visited, Sakura was still about ７ blooming, but the cherry blossoms like peach blossoms, which were different from Someiyoshino in Honshu, were impressive.
