Very touching

A beautiful tribute to the lost men of the British ship, HMS , which was torpedoed by the Germans during WWII. Only four bodies washed up which were buried with honors. Good place to pay respects.

Always Visit to remember our fallen allies.

I always visit the British Cemetery on every trip to Ocracoke. This trip I was able to bike to it early on a Sunday morning. The flags were at half mast to pay respects to Queen Elizabeth's passing.

Stopped by while in Ocracoke

Interesting but unable to walk through cemetery. Think it is very commendable of community that they want to make sure the former settlers are remembered.
