A few minutes from ome station, an old wealthy merchant's house
Original Text
There was a dirt floor in the warehouse, and when I entered from a narrow diving door, a doll on a float was displayed in front of me. There is a three-story warehouse made in the backyard. It was said that it is now a cultural property of the city.
It is an old building of Ome-juku along the Ome Kaido. It is a building in the late Edo period, and it is a valuable building where you can feel the state of Ome-juku at that time, and it is spectacular.
It is about 10 minutes walk to the right from Ome Station on the old Ome Kaido. It was built in the late Edo period, and there is a large dirt floor immediately after entering from the entrance of the lattice. There is also a three-story dozo on the back. The tour is free and you can take pictures.
It is an old house along the Ome Kaido, which is about 500m west of Ome Station. You can know Ome, which was a post town. It seems that a railroad carriage was running from Iruma City, Saitama Prefecture to the next liquor store.
The ruins of an old private house along the highway are like an exhibition hall. There are quite a few old private house-style things along the Ome Kaido, but it is preserved here and you can see the life of those days well.
