ok for camping, not great
A nice enough campground, but too close to town. Quite a bit of traffic, as people appear to live near the recreation area too. A pleasant enough site with a small lake, and they have coin-op show...
BUST
I looked up info on this Nebraska Recreation area as a camping spot. It advertises 50plus hookup sites. Wrong....it is strictly primitive camping with no hookups whatsoever. We left and drove back int...
Real dissapointment
We camped here just for one night. Campsite was filthy. Cigarette butts everywhere. Fire ring completely filled with bottles. Old dilapidated playgrounds. Very noisy. Would not recommend.
Fun spot
We used a cabin. Had a boat and jet ski. Towed our teens around the lake and enjoyed the outdoors . It's only a few miles north of North Platte.
Good time
We went to Lake Maloney for an afternoon of water sports (skiing and tubing). The kids had a blast and it was a good time. The boat ramp was easy to use and parking was more than sufficient. We had...
