On my way back to Beijing, I passed by Panjin and decided to take a look at the famous Red Beach there. However, the most vibrant months for the Red Beach are from July to October, when the admission fee is 110 RMB per person. If you go now, there's very little red, mostly green and yellow. Travel Tips: If you go now, it's the off-season for the Red Beach, so there's no admission fee. The beach stretches for 18 kilometers, and cars are not allowed to enter. There are shuttle buses inside that charge separately. If you want to see the red-crowned cranes, you need to visit the Scarecrow Exhibition, which also charges a separate fee. It's recommended not to walk inside because it's quite large. There are also various convertibles and sports cars for rent on-site, all charged by the hour, ranging from 150 to 880 RMB per hour. Basically, driving yourself for 2-3 hours should be enough. Many of the small shops inside are not open. Some people online say that you can take pictures of seals and such. Indeed, there are seals, but ordinary people can't take pictures of them because that area is a protected zone. So, those who can take pictures are either accredited or have made prior arrangements. The entire corridor has only one main road, with many areas and viewing platforms on both sides. When I went there, there was a level 5 wind, so the drone could only fly low for a short time to take a couple of shots. Panjin is an oil extraction site, so you can see many oil extraction machines nearby. They have bright colors and are very photogenic.

Located at the mouth of the Liaohe River, the Red Beach lies within the territory of Zhaoquanhe Town in Dawa District, Panjin City. The Red Beach scenic corridor is known as "China's most exciting leisure corridor" and "China's most romantic recreation coastline". The entire scenic area stretches for 18 kilometers, so it's best to take a sightseeing bus when entering, as it stops at each major scenic spot. However, when we visited, several spots were not stopped at, which was a bit disappointing. On one side of the scenic area is the continuous Red Beach, and on the other side are the golden, undulating wheat fields of rice paddies, which would be absolutely beautiful if captured from a drone. The most beautiful season for the Red Beach is from September to October. The Red Beach National Scenic Corridor is the unique 'World Red Coastline', also known as 'China's most exciting leisure corridor' and 'China's most romantic recreational coastline'. It is located in the Red Beach Wetland Tourist Resort in Panjin, Liaoning Province, starting from the Erjie Gou Hunjiang Gou Bridge in the south and ending at the junction of the Guanting Bridge and the tourist road in the Red Beach Wetland Tourist Resort in the north, with a total length of 18.115 kilometers. In January 2020, the Red Beach Scenic Corridor was designated as a National 5A Tourist Scenic Area.
