Unfinished dig but worth a look.
Wet day so didn't explore as much as I could have. Could do with a bit more info on origin and civilisations facts. Worth spending a few minutes while visiting the stunning Portballintrae coastline.

What was this set of two double ringed embankments build to do? Was it an ancient ferry terminal for those heading to or from Scoalnd or a temple to ancient gods?

A really nice little surprise to find this historical site when I was least expecting one! Helpful information board provides some old information.
