The Banaoang Bridge, also called Quirino Bridge, is a steel Arch Bridge traversing some 460 meter above the mighty Abra River connecting the towns of Santa and Bantay. For most travellers, this is their sign to get ready as Vigan is not too far.The old steel Arcg Bridge which is an architectural feat is now replaced by a parallel red painted Parker-Type Bridge bridge which is more recent and more modest, design wise.Visitors can park roadside before approaching the bridge, or in a viewing deck, to take some time to admirw these bridges of Ilocos.
