Mount Yumihari Hike
A decent hike from the naval base. Takes about an hour to get to the observation platform. On the way stop and checkout the memorial to Japanese submarine sailors. A great way to get some exercise spe...
Great view of the City and port
You drive to top of mountain or you can climb it if you want. The view from the top is amazing one at night ti over looks the port and Sasebo City Center. Great place to take some pictures.
A walk up Mt Yumihari is not fun but it is satisfying ............
reaching the lookout at the top. Excellent views over Sasebo and islands. Allocate at least an hour for each way, up and down, and take change for getting a drink from vending machine along the way.
Beautiful view
Excellent view, definitely recommend taking the trip up Mt Yumihari if you are in town or staying long term, it's well worth it
