I went to the statue of Funaoka Heiwa Kannon in the middle of my errand. The Kannon statue itself is located in Funaoka Castle Ruins Park, quite far behind the park.
It was built in 1950 by donations from civilians.
In addition to JR Funaoka Station, the ruins of Funaoka Castle have a bridge from the Shiraishikawa embankment, which is famous for the first-glance Senbonzakura, and you can climb directly. There is Heiwa Kannon in the place where Ichinomaru was located on the ruins of the castle. Heiwa Kannon was donated by civilians in 1950 and built. Around the statue of Heiwa Kannon, there is also a memorial tower for Kai Harada, which is famous for the remains of the sky cafe and the cherry tree. The scenery is good, so please come and visit us.

When I got off Funaoka Station and tried to go toward Funaoka Castle Ruins Park, I unavoidably saw the Kannon statue on the mountain. There was a little distance to walk, so I gave up just looking at it this time.
