    Super interesting

    Visiting this decommissioned submarine was a great outing for my son and I. Very informative talk and history of the sub well covered. Super interesting to learn how submariners lived.

    an educational opportunity

    Well worth the visit. Any naval history buff, quite simply should not miss it. Take the children, they will love it. Round it off with a trip out to the submarine, if that is still possible.

    Could not visit the submarine

    The submarine is no longer open to the public due to internal wrangling within the SA Navy. There appears to be no date for the reopening

    DRY DOCK

    Please note that the SAS Assegaai is in dry dock for repairs as it was leaking. Expected back in service as a museum late 2017
