Beautiful
It is amazing to suddenly come across this tiny ancient church with the modern Sofia town built all around it. Although it was closed when we visited, you can easily walk around the whole structure.
It is in the middle of the Serdica ruins and you can't see more there, but it's a city icon and it's worth passing through this site because it's very central and it's not hard to find it.

You will pass several times, but visiting inside doesn't worth visiting
The Roman era's excavations are historically important, and it is not worth visiting.

St. Petka Church
A small temple built in 16th at the site of an ancient Roman religious building. It is located in the Serdic area in the center of Sofia.
You deserve to see you ...
