Tianjin Museum is located in the cultural center at the intersection of Yuexiu Road and Pingjiang Road in Hexi District, Tianjin. It is a large-scale comprehensive museum of art history that displays the history of ancient Chinese art and the development of Tianjin city. Tianjin Museum is a collection of four series of museums and courtyards of the 20th century Tianjin Cultural Museum, Social Education, Fine Arts and Expo. In 2004, it was merged with the former Tianjin Museum of Art and Tianjin History Museum, and its predecessor was the Tianjin Museum of 1918. [1] The collection of Tianjin Museum features artworks of China's past generations and modern historical documents, local historical materials, and as of the end of 2014, there are ancient bronzes, ceramics, calligraphy, paintings, jade, imprints, study utensils, oracle, currency, stamps, Dunhuang relics, Bamboo and wood corner tools, local folk crafts and modern historical documents and other collections of nearly 200,000 pieces, and 200,000 books and materials.[1]
