Long trip through the Adirondacks, but worth it!
Amazing Views, Great Musket and Cannon demonstrations. Very good Tours through the Fort and a lot of Great History. Also did the Boat Tour around Lake Champlain.
If you are in Upper New York state, try to make this stop
We were heading back north from Lake George, only an hour or so drive. Very large fort on beautiful grounds - also has a very large flower garden. Nice combination of artifacts in museum displays and ...
Worth stopping
We enjoyed exploring the fort. We did not join a tour, but we saw guides interacting with other visitors. A worthwhile visit.
Learning about the USA’s past…
What a historic, educational experience! The grounds were very well-maintained and the personnel was very informative. We had perfect weather, too.
