Toksun Yadan Landform

Yadan landform, or wind erosion ridge, is a typical wind erosion landform. "Yadan" in Uyghur means "small hill bag with steep wall". Due to the abrasion of the wind, the lower part of the hill bag often suffers strong denudation and gradually forms a concave shape. Looking at the ghostly work of nature, I can't sigh my own smallness at the same time, and the endless charm of the desert ～～～

This Yadan landscape is very unique, composed of thousands of mounds, stretching for several kilometers, or animals, or buildings, or clouds and water, and the shape of the gods. The view of the thousands of Buddhas, walking on the lunar surface, is shocking.

It was a huge freshwater lake thousands of years ago. Later the crust moved and then became a huge Gobi like it is now. The whole landscape is very distinctive. Very worth seeing.

The Toxon Yadan landform is not as remote as the other Yadan landforms in Xinjiang, far from the city, and can be seen on the side of National Highway 314.
