2005年７月にオープンし椋鳩十、庄野英二、今江祥智、灰谷健次郎、山中恒、いぬいとみこ、神沢利子、長新太、手塚治虫、倉本聰など１０人のコレクションを中心15,000冊ほどの「本の置き場所」。上田駅前にある竹風堂の隣にあります。
