Nice Monument

It’s a nice monument. Good for some pictures. This is located close to the waterfront and there are many other things within the area to see and do.

The Monument to the Pioneers and Old Settlers.....

Located down by the waterfront, is this very interesting sculpture, that looks like a wave, there are characters carved into in, the monument is dedicated to the Pioneers and Old Settlers of the area...

A good looking piece of sculpture near the water front, can't really miss it and it is worth a few minutes to have a look

Really Enjoyed It

Very hard to miss as one strolls around the waterfront. We were immediately taken by the swooping "wings" of the bird. The detailing of the characters inside is amazing. Nicely done!

You cannot miss it if you arrive by ship

What a beautiful symbolic sculpture. The over arching albatross wings envelop scenes depicted all around the sides of life in Ushuaia by the indiginous and later inhabitants.
